Farmors School Morris Education was commissioned by Beam Construction to design, supply and install the furniture for the new Science Block at Farmors School, Fairford. Gloucestershire County Council had nominated Morris Education as the preferred supplier through Roberts Gardner Architects of Gloucester. Morris Education's project value was approximately £102,000 to be completed in two phases. Phase one was completed in the autumn of 2004 and phase two will be completed in spring 2005. The project consisted of four new Science Laboratories with associated Prep Rooms and Work Areas. 'Labstone' worktops were specified throughout and the main laboratories were designed with fixed bollard units and loose benches.
